CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS

Centrifugal pumps, are pumps that flood water with the centrifugal effect. The word centrifuge means “centrifuge (force)” in Turkish. The French word centrifuge is derived from the word “centrifugal (force)”.

Turkey Centrifugal Pump Manufacturer.

Centrifuge literally means centrifugal force. In these pumps, which consist of a vane impeller (Impeller) in a body, the liquid is transmitted from an inlet to the middle of the impeller. The pressure is obtained by rotating the liquid with the impeller. The path of the liquid in a centrifugal pump is as follows. Due to the vacuum created on the suction side of the impeller, the liquid enters between the edges of the impeller. The fluid passing between the impeller edges gains a great tangential velocity with the rotational movements of the impeller. Between the impeller edges and the channels bounded by the front and rear profiles of the impeller, the liquid is pushed towards the exit side of the impeller by the effect of centrifugal forces that occur during the rotational movement. The movement created in this way ensures the continuous flow of the liquid and the suction of the pump around the suction. The kinetic energy contained in the liquid leaving the impeller edges with a great tangential velocity is converted into pressure energy in the volute cavity between the fixed diffuser blades.

Sumak pump is one of the leader manufacturer  of centrifugal pumps.

Physicist Denis Papin invented the centrifugal pump in 1689, and today such pumps are the most commonly used pumps all over the world. The centrifugal pump is based on a simple principle: The liquid is dragged into the center of the impeller and circulates around the impellers by centrifugal forces. Structurally, it is economical, robust and simple, and thanks to its high speed, it allows to connect the pump directly to an asynchronous motor. Centrifugal pumps produced by turkish centrifugal pump manufacturers provide a continuous flow of liquid and the flow can be throttled without damaging the pump. Centrifugal pump parts liquid is sent from the pump inlet to the center of the freezing impeller and from there it is entrained along its circumference. This structure provides a high efficiency and is suitable for the transport of clean liquids. Pumps that have to carry impure liquids, such as waste water pumps, have specially designed impellers to prevent substances from accumulating in the pump.

Pumps are machines that increase the energy or pressure of liquids. In this regard, pumps are used to send a liquid from low to high or from low pressure to high pressure. On the other hand, pumps produced by Turkish centrifugal pump manufacturers are also used to increase the flow rate and thus the flow rate of the liquid flowing in a pipe.

If we come to centrifugal pumps produced by Turkish pump producers, in these pumps, which consist of a vane impeller in a body, the liquid enters the pump through a suction pipe. The path of the liquid in a centrifugal pump is as follows. Due to the vacuum created on the suction side of the impeller, the liquid enters between the blades of the impeller. The fluid passing between the impeller blades gains a great tangential velocity with the rotational movements of the impeller. Between the impeller blades and the channels bounded by the front and rear profiles of the impeller, the liquid is pushed towards the exit side of the impeller by the centrifugal force that occurs during the rotational movement. The movement created in this way ensures the continuous flow of liquid and suction from the suction side of the pump. The kinetic energy contained in the liquid leaving the impeller blades with a great tangential velocity is converted into a pressure force in the volute cavity between the fixed diffuser blades. The highest pressure is achieved with a given rotational speed. This kind of pump can be said to be a hydrodynamic pump.

The curve showing the relationship between the amount of water (flow rate) that a pump can circulate at constant speed and the head is called the pump characteristic.

These characteristic curves are used when selecting a pump. In some cases, instead of choosing a larger pump, it is possible to obtain the desired characteristic by connecting two small pumps in parallel or in series. Pump produced by Turkish centrifugal pump manufacturers characteristics depend on the number of revolutions. It is possible to obtain different characteristics by changing the number of revolutions. According to this;,

  • Pump flow rate increases proportionally with the number of revolutions.
  • Pump head increases in proportion to the square of the speed.
  • Pump power requirement increases in proportion to the cube of the speed.

In centrifugal pumps manufactured by Turkish  water pump producers, like the original spare parts used and all turbo machines, there is a main element called the impeller, which rotates around a fixed axis with an angular velocity. The centrifugal pump part, in its simplest form, is a centrifugal impeller, by placing centripetal (radial) blades between two parallel discs. obtained. Also, one of the discs is thickened around the axis and connected to a shaft. As indicated in the figure below, a fluid particle inside the impeller, on the one hand, rotates with the impeller with the speed u=rω around the axis of rotation, on the other hand, moves relative to the impeller with the speed w and leaves the impeller. u is the circumferential velocity, w is the relative velocity. When a fluid-filled impeller starts to rotate around its axis, the fluid starts to emerge from the surface B under the influence of centrifugal forces. The original spare part should be used, so that the fluid absorbed from the E surface is pressed out of the B surface. The flow seen by an observer rotating with the impeller will be different from the flow seen by the observer in a stationary environment. The velocity of a particle moving in the flow with respect to a stationary observer in a still medium is called the absolute velocity, and the velocity seen by an observer rotating with the wheel is called the relative velocity. Absolute velocity is the vectorial sum of the velocities of c, w and u. They form the sides of a rhombus with the intensities and directions of the velocities w and u. The diagonal of this rhombus represents the absolute velocity. The sides of the quadrilateral show the relative velocity w and the circumferential velocity u, depending on their intensity and direction. Thus, these three velocities form a triangle. In calculations, it is acted as if there are an infinite number of very thin wings. In this case, it can be assumed that the flow filaments completely follow the vane and the flow is one-dimensional. In the case of collision-free entry, the blade start is tangential to the inlet relative velocity. In other words, the centrifugal pump original parts and the speed w1 making an angle of β1 with the inlet circle tangent in the pumps and the airfoil are in the same direction.

Likewise, the velocity w2 making an angle β2 with the wing end exit tangent is in the same direction. The direction of the first blade element at the inlet must be the same as the direction of the inlet bound velocity, if it is desired to make the entry crash-free and thus avoid losses. In pumps, the vane ends below the angle β2 of the relative velocity w2.

Centrifugal Pump produced by Turkish water pump manufacturers  types in general;

Primary Centrifugal Pumps

Primary pumps are generally known as pumps with a friction fan, because the pump impeller provides pressure by rubbing against a surface. Pump impellers and friction surfaces are generally made of stainless or bronze materials. Primary centrifugal pumps with power between 0.50-1.5 HP, the pump systems we manufacture with different features, pump technologies, our products are suitable for practical use, mainly water booster pump, garment ironing machine pump, textile steam ironing pump, pressurization pump, hydromat pump, water suitable for use as well. Our pumps produced by Turkish primary centrifugal pump manufacturers can also be developed as a special hot water pump. Primary water pumps, pump systems, pump technologies are water pumps with a minimum of 40 m and a maximum head of up to 103 m, suction from a depth of 6 m. Due to the fact that the pump impeller and friction surfaces are bronze, preferical water pumps are suitable for use in places requiring high temperature (ironing machines, steam boilers) pressure, small-scale gardens, pump systems, pump technologies, and clean water supply to distant places.

Self Priming Jet Pumps

Jet pumps are centrifugal pumps formed by adding an additional jet ejector to a structure with one or more propellers and diffusers. The most important feature of the jet pump is that some of the pressurized water in the outlet line is given to the suction line and suction from deeper wells thanks to the injector. Jet pumps are pumps that are generally mounted on the ground and allow the water to be evacuated through a suction pipe. Jet pumps are widely used in areas where groundwater is rich. It basically consists of two main types. The most important parameter in the separation of this type of centrifugal pumps is the depth of the water level.

Jet pumps manufactured by Turkish jet pump producers, this type of suction jet pumps, which have a wide range of use in domestic use. This type of suction water pump, which is suitable for different purposes of use in different types between 0.85 – 2.2 HP, water booster systems, silent water booster in sensitive residences due to its silent operation, silent operating booster also with simple installation. The water pump (some models) suctioning from 9 meters is also designed appropriately and it is very unlikely to fail. Jet pumps, all kinds of spare parts are easily and economically available.

Jet pump can suction from a depth of 9 meters. Sumak jet pumps which is produced Turkish jet pump manufacturer as Sumak pompa , also known as jet water pumps in the local language, are preferred products due to their easy installation.

Cast Body Silent Stage Jet Pumps

Casting Body Silent multistage Jet Pumps are silent pumps with cast body, having more than one impeller and diffuser due to their structure. This type of multistage jet pumps, also known as Casting Body Silent multistage Jet Pumps or silent water pumps produced by Turkish silent net pumps manufacturer, which we started to manufacture, are used in the production of pressurized water in the silent booster system in sensitive environments, silent operation booster in sensitive areas, vineyard garden irrigation pump, pump working in constructions, gas stations. It is suitable for use as silent water pumps for clean water supply, in villas and summer houses, in buildings up to 5 floors and 12 apartments, for silent water booster purposes.

Self Priming Stainless Jet Pumps

Self-Priming Jet Pumps are centrifugal pumps with a propeller and diffuser, adding an additional jet injector to the structure. The difference of stainless jet pumps is that the body material is stainless instead of casting compared to other jet pumps. Jet pumps produced by turkish stainless jet pump manufacturers, this type of self-priming jet pumps, which have a wide range of use in domestic use, this type of suction water pump, water booster systems, quiet water booster in sensitive residences due to its silent operation, quiet operating booster, also simple. It is designed as a water pump that sucks from 9 meters with installation.

Self Clapped Pumps

Self-Clapped Pumps, generally known as stop-type pumps.  this type of clapped pumps  due to the clap placed on the suction line, when the pump stops, the water in the casing cannot escape to the well or tank where the suction is made, and since the pump works again, it can easily suck without air problems. It does not need to be put a foot valve on the suction hose again . Self-closing pumps between 1.5 and 7.5 HP are suitable for use as pumps used in irrigation systems, ship industry, boats and shipyards, especially since they can suction from certain distances. These pumps produced by Turkish self clapped water pump manufacterers are suitable for use in agricultural irrigations up to a maximum height of 32 m, suction from 6 m, in the discharge of polluted water that does not contain solid particles and fibers, in the discharge of construction foundation water and in high flow water needs in the ship sector.

Open Impeller Centrifugal Pumps

The front surface of the impeller is open, that is, its edges are visible when looking at the impeller. This type of pumps are generally used in the transfer of particles in water, unlike closed impellers, they do not clog. Pumps manufactured by Turkish water pump producers with open impellers are lower in pressure than closed impellers and have higher water flow.

Double Stage Centrifugal Pumps

Double Stage Centrifugal Pumps are water pumps with high pressure compared to normal centrifugal pumps, but they are water pumps especially suitable for use as domestic booster systems pump and industrial plant pump. This type of pump produced by Turkish pump manufacturers has 2 impellers and 1 diffuser. The water pressurized by the first wheel comes to the suction of the second wheel thanks to the diffuser, and the water pressurized again can reach higher altitudes.

Double-stage centrifugal pumps, suction from a depth of 6 m and pressurized water up to a maximum height of 85 m, are suitable for use in agricultural irrigation, for booster purposes in buildings up to 8 floors and 32 flats, for clean water supply in gas stations, social facilities and constructions.

Jacuzzi Pumps and Pool Pumps

Unlike other pumps, the parts that this type of pumps will contact with water are completely made of dielectric, that is, insulating materials. It is designed in such a way that a possible electrical leakage cannot come into contact with water in any way. This type of pumps can be used in chemical liquids as the parts in contact with the liquid are plastic due to their structure. Contrary to standard pumps, since the suction and output lines are external threaded, they are suitable for use with a union and can be practically disassembled and mounted. This type of pumps produced by Turkish pool pump manufacturers are generally used as circulation in pools and jacuzzis. There is a filter in the suction line of the pool pump compared to the jacuzzi pump, and this filter has an easy-to-remove and attachable cover, it serves to filter foreign materials in the pool.

It is used for water supply in areas such as fields , construction , irrigation areas where electricity is not available . It is quite practical. Diesel water engine, 2” output, 4 hp diesel engine, 4 hp self-closing water engine with coupled design, completely our own production diesel water engine, easy to transport, very simple to install and commission, this diesel water engine is a water engine for the evacuation of floods in the absence of electricity, It has a wide range of uses as a water engine for flood evacuation, a water engine for draining manhole water, a water engine for tunnel flooding, a water tanker filling engine for water discharge, a tanker unloading water engine.

Inline Centrifugal Pumps

Single-stage non-self-priming suction and discharge flashes are single-stage, volute, closed impeller, mono-block inline centrifugal pumps that can be mounted on straight pipe on the same axis. In this way, inline pumps provide convenience to the workshops since the defective parts are replaced and maintained without removing the volute.

Our inline type pumps designed with SML160/65 and SML160/80 models have been started to be manufactured with 2900 rpm and 1450 rpm engine options. This type of pumps which produced by Turkish inline pump manufacturers are designed for use in industrial (industrial) facilities, swimming pools, geothermal facilities, heating and cooling systems pump, circulation pump, hot water circulation pump, air conditioning pump, water distribution facilities pump, power plant pump and water circulation pump.

Circulation Pumps / Frequency Controlled / Circulation Pump

The circulation pump is the name given to the devices that provide the progress of the water circulating in a closed system. Circulation pumps are necessary for the circulation of liquid in closed circuit heating and cooling systems. They circulate the liquid in devices such as combi boilers, boilers and the like. Circulation pumps which is produced by Turkish circulation pump manufacturers are handled in two different types according to their engine structure. These are glandless pumps and glandless pumps.

In central hot water heating systems, wet rotor circulation pumps are used. In wet rotor pumps, the pressurized liquid is allowed to circulate through the rotor liner and wet the carbon bearings in which the rotor shaft is located. In this way, the heating problem in the bearing and winding group of the motor is solved. Wet rotor pumps do not have a ventilation fan. For this reason, they work more quietly. Despite their many advantages, wet rotor pumps operate at lower efficiency than dry rotor pumps.

Dry rotor circulation pumps are devices that can cool with air. Dry rotor options are used in areas where the power of wet rotor pumps is not sufficient. Dry rotor circulation pumps are used in areas such as chillers and air handling units.

Today, circulation pump production is operated with frequency controlled drives and the efficiency class has to provide EEI<= 0.23 class. Because of  this high efficiency, the pumps can operate with high performance with less energy.
